After booting from SSD, drive is inaccessible

I recently purchased a Samsung SSD 850 EVO 500GB, and wired it fine. It appeared under 'This PC' and I partitioned it accordingly. I downloaded Samsung's Magician software—specifically 'Data Migration'—to load my OS onto the SSD. After attempting to boot from the SSD (it was #1 in Boot Priority), it defaulted back to the OS on my HDD (I assume since the boot failed); but now I cannot even access my SSD in under 'This PC'. To my knowledge, I followed Samsung's instructions well. Any suggestions?
