Apple just announced the new iPhone SE and it just costs $399. The phone is essentially iPhone 8 with a faster chipset and a better camera. Here are things you should know about this new iPhone.

- Price Starts at $399 for the 64 GB version
- The design is similar to the iPhone 8, but limited only to the 4.7 inch size screen
- There will be no plus size
- It is simply the iPhone 8 with better camera and chipset, it will come with Apple’s Bionic A13 Chip, also found on the iPhone 11 and iPhone 11 Pro models.
- It has a single 12 mp camera f/1.8 lens at the back but adds Smart HDR photography, which combines multiple shots taken into a single shot for a more detailed photo. It also has OIS (Optical Image Stabilization) and supports 4K up to 60 fps.
- Cinematic video Stabilization
- Also features monocular depth sensing, which uses machine learning to detect depth and faces, but will only work on people.
- The Front facing camera is a 7 mp selfie shooter
- It has Apple’s 4.7 inch IPS LCD Retina screen with True Tone Color
- Comes with a 5W Charger but can support up to 18W fast Charging. It also supports Qi wireless charging
- There is still no headphone jack but will come with lighting headphones
- Connectivity WiFi 6, Gigabit LTE and Dual SIM Support and eSIM (allows users two different phone numbers on one device)
- It also supports Haptic Touch
- IP67 rating Water resistant up to 1 m for 30 minutes
- and also dust resistant
- There is still no info on the battery capacity
