I have decided this coming May, amidst turmoil at my childhood home in Northampton, Massachusetts to run away and go live with my mother instead, who lives in Winchendon, Massachusetts. Currently, my smartphone is on my stepmother's family plan that consists of her line, my father's line, one of her daughter's lines and my line. When I disappear, I want to completely break off from their family plan and sign up myself for a single-line Verizon Wireless contract. Preferably, I would like my father to be unaware that this change has happened until he notices my line is taken off his monthly bill.How can I make this happen? I'm unaware how I can break apart from their family plan and re-sign with Verizon under my own name with a single line. Will there be any fees either myself or his wife has to pay? Is there any way I can do this without him knowing? Please let me know.
