Phone noob looking to do more with my next phone

I got my first smartphone two years ago, a Samsung Galaxy Core Prime here are the specs. It would run out of space even after I moved everything to an SD card and after I would clear the cache, and the updates just ate up more and more space. Here are my limitations.I'm in the USI'm looking for a Verizon phoneI'm looking for a lot more space than the 8 gigs I'm working with now. I want to be able to install mostly whatever I want. I'm not looking to make this thing a gaming phone, but it would be nice to install one or two games on it. The top apps I use are Gmail, Google Maps, Google Calendar, Google Drive, NewPipe, Tinder, OkCupid, Facebook Lite, FBReader, Wells Fargo. I'm really missing out on the big name apps everyone's running around with these days.I'd like a better camera than what I have, (5 MP) one that allows me to take some crisp photos during the day and get some decent quality shots at night.Maybe a bigger screen then what I have? I don't know about this, but text conversations are a chore with this phone because the keyboard size on this one is too small, I always wind up misspelling things or my keyboard app starts learning misspelled words. Current dimensions are 130.8 x 67.9 x 8.8 mm (5.15 x 2.67 x 0.35 in).And not too expensive. I'm not looking to spend more than $400 on this phone, though if you think that's a bad idea for someone like me I'd like to hear why.
