Hello, I'm not sure if this is the place to ask but I figured I could find some help here. I currently live in a mobile home park "I am young and was tired of renting". The only internet service provider we have is at&t. They are charging me 60 dollars a month for 3mb/s down and about 800kb/s up. We are constantly being disconnected or experiencing huge amounts of packet loss due to old wiring. I have had 10 technicians out due to it simply failing to provide any service even intermittent. The advertised speed is 18 / 3mbs but because the line cant handle that, we are throttled to this speed. Is there someone in my city or anyone I can contact to have more options or force them to provide at least the advertised service? Like most people, my wife and I rely on the internet for work and day to day activities.
I was told by a technician that if enough people compain they will have to run new fiber. But with me and at least 40 of the 65 residents knowingly done this there is no progress.
