Switched to a new case this afternoon, keeping the same components minus a CD drive. However, when I turned it on, everything powered for ~1 second then immediately shut off.
I've gone down the list, disconnecting various components to narrow down possible offenders, and arrived at just my PSU (Corsair CX600) and mobo/CPU (Asus P8Z77-V LE /Intel i7 3770).
I grounded myself before messing with the components, and I'm certain I didn't wire anything incorrectly to cause a short. I'm hesitant to believe its the PSU simply because everything from fans to the GPU powered up just fine, but the motherboard also seems to be intact and not shorted because the green indicator LED is on. I'm at a loss to figure out which one is the offender. I'm open to any ideas at this point!
