Description of problem
So heres the setup. Small business, everything is on one floor but spread out. There is a small office where the APX (airport extreme) is it sits on the wall mount rack above the 24 prt switch. On the other side of that wall is a pay station, the POS runs on wifi, about 15 feet pass the pay station is a bar/lounge. On the furthest wall there is another apx (airport express) extending the network via ethernet.
I have attached a small layout for reference. So the IPAD all of a sudden lost all connection to both guest and secured network. The only solution was to move it to the bar and it worked fine. As soon as you walked past the small entrance, the wifi is gone and it can no longer see the network. now this place is mostly open, so except for the office walls, the rest are not even to the ceiling. What would cause this issue? both airports are on different channels, and its something that just started to happen. I came in and updated the firmware on all the airports, took the ipad and tested it myself. I was shocked that it couldn't see either SSID. So i went into settings, "forgot" the local wifi, and re-added it. Worked no issue. until a week later it happened again.
Does anyone have any idea what is going on?
