Suddenly I couldn’t login to my 2FA PM account anymore because the code my authenticator app. Authy gave me didn’t work anymore. Why? No idea! It took me one day and a heck of a lot of stress to find the solution : uninstall and reinstall Authy.My point is that in my opinion PM shouldn't rely on third party authenticator apps! This means that it would be wise if PM would develop their own authenticator app or something else as long as PM is 100% in control thus being able to offer quick solutions. Now, I struggled with the helpdesk. First they don’t read properly and second they obviously couldn’t come up with the simple solution I found myself.What happened to me can happen to anyone with any auth. app at any time. And it's highly frustrating. I'm pretty good with computers so I was able to solve this issue myself. But most people aren't.So again, Dear Protonmail, please take the 2FA-thing in your own hands and make it simple for everyone. Configuring the auth.app is way too complicated for people with too little knowledge of computers, smartphones, etc. As a matter of fact it’s so annoying!Thank you!
