iPhone SE – old design but faster, better camera and at $399

Apple just announced the new iPhone SE and it just costs $399. The phone is essentially iPhone 8 with a faster chipset and a better camera. Here are things you should know about this new iPhone.

  1. Price Starts at $399 for the 64 GB version
  2. The design is similar to the iPhone 8, but limited only to the 4.7 inch size screen
  3. There will be no plus size
  4. It is simply the iPhone 8 with better camera and chipset, it will come with Apple’s Bionic A13 Chip, also found on the iPhone 11 and iPhone 11 Pro models.
  5. It has a single 12 mp camera f/1.8 lens at the back but adds Smart HDR photography, which combines multiple shots taken into a single shot for a more detailed photo. It also has OIS (Optical Image Stabilization) and supports 4K up to 60 fps.

  7. Also features monocular depth sensing, which uses machine learning to detect depth and faces, but will only work on people.
  8. The Front facing camera is a 7 mp selfie shooter
  9. It has Apple’s 4.7 inch IPS LCD Retina screen with True Tone Color
  10. Comes with a 5W Charger but can support up to 18W fast Charging. It also supports Qi wireless charging
  11. There is still no headphone jack but will come with lighting headphones
  12. Connectivity WiFi 6, Gigabit LTE and Dual SIM Support and eSIM (allows users two different phone numbers on one device)
