I just bought my first Raspberry Pi--Model 3, and I'm researching a touchscreen to put in my truck to replace the double-DIN FM radio. It seems that the best choice would be a capacitative touchscreen with an IPS panel but my biggest concern is being able to read it in bright sunlight. I live in Florida. My last smartphone's screen was completely unreadable in bright sunlight and even shading it with my hand didn't do much good. Any experience that you have with different screens under bright conditions will be helpful. TIA!
