So i recently upgraded to a PC from using a laptop for a long time and it came with a $10 wireless adaptor so i didnt bother getting another one (its the Nano by Edimax). Anyways my wireless router is on the other side of the house for multiple reasons so i cant move it, I have a feeling the adaptor is just struggling with the distance because my laptop would rarely spike in games and the download speed was about 2x faster then what it is now on my desktop. Im not that good with tech so, does anyone think getting a better wireless adaptor will help/fix this or a wifi extender/repeater would have any positives, thanks very much.
