Description of problem
Bought an RX 580 this Christmas and installed it into my computer. However I was shocked to see that the GPU would not produce a signal/ not pass POST.

Date of purchase

Cause/Steps to recreate the issue
Installing the RX 580
What I've tried so far to resolve the issue
I (before I installed the GPU) used DDU a gpu driver uninstaller that detected my Nvidia drivers and uninstalled them automatically. Once I confirmed the drivers were uninstalled I powered my system down. I unplugged the PSU and drained the capacitors (by turning on the PC with the PSU power plug disconnected). Then I installed the RX 580 and it appropriate PCI-e power plugs, powered on the computer and no signal and could not pass POST. I checked for motherboard driver updates but found none. Any and all help is appreciated.
