Used laptop, got it from my work in the barebones section, and took a chance, because I knew our tech just didn't have the ddr4 ram to test it with, and apparently it turned on according to a co worker. I bought it, ordered some RAM, a caddy, and a HDD. It posted, and let me get to the hp mem test, and HDD test, both passed. Tried to install windows, and kept bluescreening with different errors each time something usually memory related. I tried running a live version of Kali, and Ubuntu, and both had a kernal error I believe it said something about it ending an idle task or something like that. I can check again if you need more info, but I'm just looking for somebody to bounce ideas off of.
