Helping Mom cut the cord - best channel guide/streaming box usability?

So, we're trying to save my Mom money and remove the cable TV. She's big into the lifestyle channels like Lifetime, DIY, Hallmark, as well as TBS, TNT, etc. I'm leaning towards Sling Orange plus the Lifestyle add-on to cover the majority of it. She has a gen1 Fire Stick and it's way too slow for regular usage. She doesn't care about sports or HDR/4K tech.I think the newer Fire TV or Roku box/stick would be fine for her. We have an apple TV and the remote drives her bananas from a UX POV, so that's out. And she's not great w/ the smartphone/tablet usage, so the Chromecast is out too.Which device do you find to have the best UX for someone used to the Channel Guide from traditional cable, and likewise, which of the big channel services like Sling/DirectTV/Dish do you prefer for channel guide usability? Thanks!
